Pulling the Wagon
Pulling the wagon from Schijndel to Veghel accompanied by television and photographer. We follow an unknown route in the third week of our journey. We know where we want to go but the exact route isn’t quit clear. Take leave of the van Dam’s family is warm and friendly. We have spend five day’s in their backyard, drink coffee in their house, using their shower. Family has visit us their, the blacksmith came; Rene even did some adjustments on our caravan. A special place to be remembered.

Pulling the Wagon The TV people are driving in front of us, the camerawoman in the back of the car. We (stupid enough) think they know the way. Halfway we understand that they haven’t a clue, we neither. Meanwhile we have visited an industrial site and we get almost stuck on a dead end road. Only when we pull the little poles away we can pass. On the picture, you can see me (thea) try and pulling the whole wagon myself.

Phone Numbers Just besides the industrial site a car stops. A young couple walking on wooden shoes starts to talk. To our surprise, it’s Pieter and Jenneke we know from the Internet. They also travel with a horse drawn caravan and staying on a rabbit farm in the neighborhood. We exchange phone numbers and promises to call each other. The road is to busy to talk further. Besides these difficulties, the road is beautiful and with great excitement, we reach Keldonk and Veghel. We meet Marien and Martien van den Tillaart. This couple invites us after seeing the first broadcast. Inspired by our story they wanted to meet us, despite the other obligations they have the next day. We only stay there for one night, just fine.
Progress Aysha and Isabella are pulling the wagon fine. Every day they become stronger and easier to handle. Martien a former nutrition teacher on a well known horse institute is very positive the way Aysha and Isabella look. We have a good night on their yard and the next city we heading on is Uden.
