Even Modern Bohemian Analyze It.

Its April and this modern bohemian are two months on the road. A few day’s ago we arrived at an other province. Drenthe is a small province at the North of Holland. For the first time we did not have an arranged address. In the middle of a wood occurs an meadow. Asking the nearby house they gave us permission to stay over night.

Evaluation

Yesterday it was two months ago we start to travel. Its time to evaluate:

Advantages

Its an exciting life

Every day is different

The gardens we stay we don’t have to hoe

We travel real slowly, time enough to see everything

There is more to explore than I ever thought

No time for boredom

No boss behind my shoulder

No mortgage and energy bills

Lots of time together

Positive people when we driving. Holding thumbs up, weaving. Just fun

We learn a lot about each other

Our role and position to do the “job” is clear and evolving

Disadvantages

The carriage space is sometimes to small

The responsibility to take care of the horses can be tuff

A shower and normal bed are things I dream of

All day long together sometimes irritating

To do laundry when it ‘s possible, not when I want

To be dependently at over-night places

New Thoughts

We have an exciting new life, free as a bird, we made a good choice. We close to the borders of Germany, a step stone away. But then this happens:

Yesterday

An old friend has bought a beautiful big farm. Meadows around it. Horses graze in the sun. Her plan is to start an institute for young diseased people. Allowed to work with animals and garden in surrounding circumstances.

Exactly the supervising work I had before. Running a place like this, pioneering and build it up from scratch, is temping to me.

Together with my wife, with her knowledge to coordinate a place like this, we could be of great value.

This new lifestyle, on the other hand, is pulling too. Even an modern bohemian has to make a choice. Lets go on.
