How we live in this carriage, a minimalist lifestyle event

We walk through the village we arrived yesterday with our horse drawn wagon. In this minimalist lifestyle we don't have a TV, so we have to find our entertainment somewhere else.

It’s a nice village, a small river meandering through its centre. It’s obviously also a wealthy village where people don't live an puritan lifestyle!.

Big houses with big gardens until the river. Some of them about 28.000 cubic feet. Our car is about 500 cubic feet.

Sometimes, on our trip, we take a shower in a bathroom bigger than our whole wagon! Talking about minimalistisch.....

Exit bench

The little dog we have with us: Vienna a parcel Jack Russell is not only chosen because she is female. (watchful) Also chosen of her size. Too small, she can’t jump on the box, too big we stumble al over her.

When she arrived she was in a bench. It looks small but put into the wagon there was no place for our feet. It takes up to much room. Exit bench.

Spatial

The table folds up. Not only useful but also necessary. “The table goes up. The bed goes down”.

When we use the table we, writhe like a worm, from the front to the back. Pulled down the table, it's spatial again.

Minimalist lifestyle

In the past few months we have live inside the wagon. Yet the weather is much better and we enlarge our territory. It starts with some shoes on the box. Then a coat. Some kitchen stuff.

We drink coffee outside. The doors are open. The bike stands a bit away from the car. It is still minimized within a circle of 5 feet but enlarging our living space.

I use a shopping bag. Normal size, nothing special. At the shop I buy as usual. Back in the wagon I can't find a place to store everything.

Advantages

Breakfast we have on our little wagon table. The view outside is enormous, great overwhelming beautiful.

Our bed is 6.5 feet long x 4.5 feet wide. Lots of space for us together…….! A minimalist lifestyle has advantages.
