Media Carriage

Media carriage on our way! When we start this journey, we decide to contact an Internet site dedicated to “People helping People”. Aim to do this was to ask for places to stay with the wagon. Immediately we received lots of reactions. The same site belongs to a broadcast company covering story’s appearing on this site and reviewing free lifestyle articles. They produce this program in Dutch: “Club van 100”. The focus is on rare items, outstanding offers or charity help.

We say yes, and the media carriage arrives early in the morning. With their equipment, camera woman and sound technician. The car really is too small for that!

TV

They worked all day to make nice pictures. Two weeks later after the broadcasting, we had a hug list of addresses to be welcome. Great! We also received enthusiastic reactions. People telling us that we do the dream travel they have for years, but never fulfill.

Also, the radio program about the backgrounds of our journey was very nice. One important and interesting question occur: The difficulty about give up security. After a while I could come up with answers: The so-call securities did not fall from the sky. We work hard for that. If necessary we can do that again. For now we like this freedom lifestyle.

Follow up

Three months later a follow up, again with television and the whole media circus. The host family is proud to be in the program. People on the street are waving, wishes us success. Great experience.

Thanks to this media carriage we find places in a easy way. Thanks for that!

Couple of pictures on this website are professional photography. A young man, was looking for a final project, now finish study with a very beautiful portfolio.

The publicity goes on when we travel through Czech Republic. For almost an hour, followed by a photographer from the local newspaper.

Small Farmer's Journal

media carriage Conceived in 1976, Small Farmer's Journal is a large (11 x 14 inch) handsome 132 page black and white quarterly which is more community odyssey than magazine. It is packed to over-full with more information than you might find in three or four conventional magazines. Supported 100% by its readership, this folksy and feisty publication, a true clarion of free speech in the best old sense of the phrase, has been a vibrant and exciting platform for engaging far-flung ideas about anything pertinent to the small family farm experience.
