Magic Journey in Hungary
Magic journey in Hungary but the language is hard to learn. Lots of new letters like ö ó í ú ü é á ä and more strange conjugations. We expect more people, especially young ones to speak English but that’s not the case. Happily we found a dictionary Dutch/Magyar (Magyar means Hungary) Now we “talk” with people hand and feet when thumb through a book. Every day on the box, we practice a few words. I feel like a little child at preschool, regularly. Nevertheless,…..
Grunt and Cackle With hands, feet and dictionary, we come a long way. It’s remarkable what you can express with your face, hands and little noises! At the butcher, I grunt for my piece of meat and cackle for eggs. Together with the desk lady’s I can’t stop laughing. Enrichment We try our best handle the language because we see enrichment in contact with Hungarian people.Sometimes we feel powerlessness not to speak the way we use to do.

Today John is on a quest for hay. Most farmers only have big chunks hay weights 110 pond. That’s too much on the wagon or bike. Finally, he found little hay bales and transport them one by one on his bike. He slave away four times when the last one is brought trough the owner.
Everything OK The young man obviously is interested but he can’t read that easy (so no dictionary) and is having a hard time to express himself. A bit frustrating but together they smoke a cigarette watching the horses and everything is ok... Another amazing moment. Thea
