Life Changing Knowledge
Every day life changing knowledge we want to share with you. On this journey, we explore life completely on another way then expected. We meet people with very personal stories and with all due respect, we listen. I believe we are in Michelfeld. Not sure about that. This day we had a passenger. Heinz, an elderly man with a funny had. His head sidewise on his shoulder. Eagerly accepting the reins in his hands, for a couple of hours, to travel with us.
Heinz and his son It was yesterday that we met him and his son. This son looks at us when we arrive on a camping ground. Enthusiastic he asks if we need anything. His father is a passionate driver to and if we want, he can bring oat. That is a great offer we grateful accept. One hour later, the oat arrives together with Heinz. We never have met an enthusiastic man like this one! He walks around the carriage, look underneath, above and even inside. Something rare to happen, people not always dare to ask. He is very obsessed by the horses. Our two Haflingers look at him, gracefully accepting the compliments!
Talking Heinz wants to know everything and cannot stop talking. Tomorrow he will bring some stuff he collect in the previous years and want to show that. He owns four horses, driving with them on weddings and in a tourist centre. Long time ago he also want to make a trip with a horse drawn carriage. Life decided different. He went psychical ill and his wife had her troubles. However, his enthusiasm and positive look on life did not change. In this travel life changing knowledge about people we met is very inspirational. This morning he arrive at 8 o’clock, we did not even have breakfast, at our carriage. Together with hay and oat again, two canvas buckets, from the USA army, and two horse collars.
The buckets we can take with us, the collars are for sale.
Collars Than he dares to ask something, he could not yesterday evening: “is it possible to ride with you for a day?” Here we are now, at the end of that travel. The horses react well on Heinz his hands but better on mine. That is normal. The horses and we traveled 1000 miles now and we get used to each other’s way. The collars we cannot use. To small and to old. Heinz looks for a place to stay, find one and we say a warm goodbye. A remarkable man, his life changing knowledge sharing with others. John
