Journey meditation moment

Surrealistic moment. Journey meditation after trip to Holland. In an unexpected way, we have to go back, to handle unsolved problems “home”. With two horses and a carriage to left behind means lots of organization talent. Finally, we manage to leave them on a camping ground.

The owners, horse lovers themselves, take care of Aysha and Isabella. Their daughter, a 14-year old girl, supplies drink and food, allowed riding the horses. We arrive on this campground by sheer chance. The owner is mowing the grass, stopped immediately when we ask for a place. The horses can finish the job!

Back to Holland

In about five days, we have to travel back to Holland and we are lucky to find this place.Now we have to arrange the trip. We planning to buy a train ticket but we arrange that too late. Next possibility is to rent a car. That is what we do and the moment is there that we travel at the speed highway in Germany.

Horse Track

It is very overwhelming! We take a route close distance from our “horse-track” we took earlier this month. In five hours-drive we are back in the city where we start four MONTHS ago.

Cars are speeding by and before I know, there is another junction ahead. I use a roadmap but every junction we have to take is passing by that quick I cannot keep up with that. Normally on the carriage box I look around, make a well-known choice and up we go.

Back in Holland a warm reception from friends and family. They know we are coming and arrange places to sleep and take care of food and drinks. We do not have a home in Holland anymore so our kids visit us in grandma’s home. Very strange experience!

Goodbye again

Time is too short to enjoy fully the present of family and friend; we have to go back to horse and carriage. Saying goodbye again is difficult, me heart belongs to the kids. In the same time: Whole time in Holland I had a strange feeling of disconnection. I belong with the horses 400 mile from here. A truant feeling I know from earlier days!

Back at the camping ground, the horses are joyful to see us back.

The whole “Holland expedition” needs a journey meditation, I think!
