Horses and Carriage and harbinger of spring

horses and carriage

It’s spring and the horses and carriage is strolling along the roads. We are enjoying the way spring reveals itself to us. Even Aysha and Isabella have spring in their mind. In the afternoon, ready with work we find them in a lying position. If not lying down they caress each other by nibble their ears and tales. Maybe love is in the air too……

More and more we see horses outside enjoying the sun and fresh grass. When we pass by, all the horses get excited and run with us till they can not go further. John always keeps the reins a bit firmer in his hands just in case.

Everyday we learn something new. Did you know that horses living close to people in a meadow, like ours, left their dropping in the far away corner as they can? Everyday we notice that again. The droppings are to the utmost corner of their fence.

Horses and Carriage Sad

Besides the road, we find innumerable dead animals. Dogs and cats, birds of course but also weasels, foxes and even a small deer. When they lie on the middle of the road, we remove them if possible.

The rubbish we see a long the road is dramatically. Its makes you a shame to be part of the human species. Cigarette ends and packages, plastic bottles, cans and furniture, car parts and suitcases. Cloths, trash bags, and much more than we can name scattered behind trees and grass.

Horses and Carriage Harbinger of Spring

We see numerous animals and if possible we make a picture. Storks, or was it a spoonbill?, I am not exactly an physicist….Deer’s and, inside a fence: Ostriches!

Gives us some more time with the horses and carriage, and we are masters of natural science.....
