Horse and Carriage, back on the road
We are excited about being back on the road again with horse and carriage. We love meeting new people, seeing new places, driving in fresh air and open space. It’s very special to start a new journal to let everyone know where we are and what we do. The button:
“Where are we?”
shows you our current position. In addition, you can read our journals about the adventures on our path, the insights and odd situations, (hopefully enjoyable for you to read) and much more story’s, just check the links inside the table on "Where are we?" or subscribe to our e-zine:

A quick little update: With horse and carriage, we started on January 2007 our journey from the North Sea till Hungary. In Lázi, we had a winter break from October till March 17, 2008. Now back on the road again. Ten day’s before we go again we want to see the kids. With airplane, car and train we travel back to our hometown. Horses Aysha and Isabella, together in good hands on a Hungarian stable, are waiting till we back.

Little Vienna, our Jack Russell, stays with new friends. Anja and André de Jonge, a Dutch couple living in Hungary for several years now. They have two Frisian horses and totally devoted to horse riding. During our winter break they helped us out with finding hay several times, arranging a blacksmith, camping equipment, they picked us up on the airport in Vienna City, transported the horses to their stable in Bakonybánk and much much more. Tears in my eyes after saying goodbye!
At home, the kids are doing well. We know it can’t, but it’s always like they still growing in length. We talked for hours and I am not even trying to tell how that feels saying goodbye for the next three months. They are all right and we are all right but still …….not the easiest part of our journey.
Tomorrow March 18 this horse and carriage is back on the road. After preparation the carriage, Aysha and Isabella with new shoes we are ready. Slovakia is longing….
