Gypsy Caravan Camping Site

Today we arrived on a gypsy caravan camping site after traveling from Goirle to Haghorst a small village in the South. Proud owners Ton and Ina Lavrijssen have many gypsy caravans on their site for rental or selling purposes. We have hear from them and are eager to meet these people.

The trip to them is beautiful. In the morning crispy clear weather and a quit road. At lunch time however the weather changed into a snow blizzard. We quickly went in the caravan, the horses out of the wind besides the Van. We made a little video on that. Don't worry about their health. The used to stay outside and with hay plenty to eat they keep themselves warm.

ShelterThe horses stay in their fence, behind electrical wire, the soil pretty muddy. Especially for us Ton and Ine opened their camping facility's like showers and toilets.

Sewing curtains

We also had a pleasant evening in their house. We even could do our laundry and in gratitude to that I helped Ine sewing her curtains. It feels good to do something in return. The weather is cold and snowy so we stay a bit longer than planned. No problem. Inside the gypsy caravan it's cosy and warm particularly because of our Zibro Camin Kerosine stove.

The morning we leave it's difficult driving on the wet meadows. It's inevitable to make some deep traces which hopefully will be gone when the camping season will start.

We have spend some beautiful day's on this gypsy caravan camping site but now it's time to hit the road again!
