The Bohemian Lifestyle
This Bohemian lifestyle is tempting to other people too! We found other travellers to join. In the months before we start travelling we read a lot about other travellers. Can’t be that we are the only one who likes this way of living. Reason why we search for them was to learn more about this gypsy life. One of the most inspiring storys is that from David Grant:
"the seven year hitch".
This man and his family traveled for more than 7 years around the world, in a horse drawn caravan. After publishing this website we had email contact with David, he is a very nice man with lot of knowledge about this way of life.

The woman from this nice light yellow caravan has been traveling three years. Now building her own farm. She traveled with her little son and one horse. Later, after a nearly accident with her horse, she decided to let a tractor pull the wagon and traveled through France. This lifestyle is so addicting.....We had some splendid weeks at here place talking about this wonderfull bohemian life. Other couples Somewhere along the road we met this young couple Edmee and Robin. In their twenty’s travelling with their horse Marcus. It was really fine to compare experiences with them. We learned a lot too.

Robin and Edmee are now traveling in France. They just bought a second horse. Marcus their first horse is big but not strong enough. To conquer the France mountains they need another horse. Now everything goes well. We still talk to them by cellphone, just because it's nice talking to other travelers with the same kind of lifestyle we have. Later on we found a whole caravan site full of antique carriages. What a fun to look at that! The caravan site owners are building and rebuilding old carriages and rent them for holiday's. The camping was not open for season, but for us the opened up and we even got the chance to do our laundry.

On this Dutch website, a lot of stories in English, we enjoyed reading about other couples with a Bohemian lifestyle
Back to where our dreams starts.
